AUF Medical Center in the forefront of fusion imaging


     AUF Medical Center dedicated and inaugurated the Milagros O. How Nuclear Medicine Center last September 16, 2011. The event was led by the Archbishop of Pampanga and Chairman of the AUF Board of Trustees, Most Rev. Paciano B. Aniceto, AUFMC President and CEO Atty. Gabriel Martin L. Angeles, AUFMC Medical Director Dr. Ma. Lourdes G. Lagunilla, the Center’s benefactor and AUFMC Board of Trustee Member Mrs. Milagros O. How and the Head of the Nuclear Medicine Center, Dr. Eric B. Cruz.

AUF Medical Center Chemotherapy and Blood Transfusion Unit
     The AUF Medical Center Chemotherapy and Blood Transfusion Unit opened last September 16, 2011. Established to provide safe and quality patient-focused clinical care to ambulatory patients requiring intravenous chemotherapy and blood transfusion, it specializes in intravenous chemotherapy administration and blood transfusion, it specializes in intravenous  chemotherapy administration and blood  transfusion, comprehensive assessment of cancer patients and the effectiveness of treatment, management of treatment side effects and in the provision of emotional support and health education to cancer patients and their families in a comfortable and out-patient setting.

AUF Medical Center does first open heart surgery


      The Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC) Cardiovascular Institute successfully performed the first ever open heart surgery in Central Luzon last May 2, it was announced by AUFMC president and CEO Gabriel Martin L. Angeles.


     Through the philanthropy of AUFMC, the medical team and generous benefactors, the breakthrough surgery was performed on a 23 – year old male indigent patient suffering from rheumatic heart disease. The patient, who is a food service worker, waited for over a year for his heart valve replacement.
